Bio

Professor Patrick Chiroro holds a PhD degree from the University of Durham (UK), as well as a Dip(Ed), a BSc (Hons) degree, and an MSc (Research) degree from the University of Manchester (UK).

During the past fifteen years, Professor Chiroro has worked as a university lecturer/professor, researcher and consultant for a number of national, regional and international organizations including the UNDP, the Department for International Development (DFID), the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA-SAREC), CODESRIA, the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), the South African National Council on Innovation (NACI), SARG/SET4W, the Gender and Development Unit of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), the Financial Services Board of South Africa (FSB), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Project Support Group-SA, the Society for Family Health (SFH) and many others.

He has published several scientific articles, chapters in books and monographs, and, has written a number of technical reports and policy documents for clients on a wide range of issues.
